HPE 3.5" LFF Smart Carrier (SC) Hot-Plug

The 3.5-inch caddy for LFF chassis — the same job as the SFF carrier, sized for large-format drives. LFF chassis (a 12-bay DL380 Gen9, for instance) exist for bulk storage: 4 to 16 TB 7,200 rpm drives whose cost per gigabyte beats every alternative. Those drives cannot be fitted without an LFF caddy. The LFF and SFF carriers are not interchangeable, and the “SFF to LFF” converter is a separate part again. To put a 2.5-inch drive in a 3.5-inch bay you need both. Status LED and locking mechanism match the SFF version; fits Gen8 through Gen10. Compatible with Gen8 / Gen9 / Gen10.
