How fast does the server respond?

Enter a domain or IP to measure connection latency (ping), stability and whether the server is reachable.

About this tool

Ping measures the round-trip time of data between you and a server; a lower number means a faster server and happier users. This tool connects to the server over TCP and measures minimum, average and maximum latency across several attempts, showing connection stability.

Frequently asked questions

What is ping?

The round-trip time of data (in milliseconds) between you and a server — a measure of responsiveness.

What is a good ping?

Under 50ms is excellent, 50–100ms is good, over 200ms is considered slow.

Why TCP latency instead of ICMP?

For accuracy and reliability we measure latency with a real TCP connection to the server's service, which is more realistic than an ICMP ping.
