The HPE 640SFP28 Dual Port 25G SFP28 PCIe is a server network adapter with 2 × 25 Gb/s SFP28 ports for HPE ProLiant Gen10 / Gen11 servers. Total bandwidth is 50 Gb/s. If your server hosts virtual machines or attaches to a storage network, the onboard gigabit port is usually the first bottleneck you hit — and fixing it is the cheapest upgrade available. The SFP28 interface needs separate SFP modules; pick the module for your distance and fibre type, and check that your switch accepts it — some switches only take their own brand.
